The Diploma in Business English for International Managers (DIPBEIM34) has been developed as a direct result of requests from the market for a qualification which provides the communication skills required by the modern international manager.

The diploma is available at Levels 3 and 4 and consists of two components – English for Business and Spoken English for Industry and Commerce (SEFIC).

To obtain an Level 4 Diploma candidates must achieve a Pass in Level 4 English for Business (Reading and Writing) (ASE4041), Level 4 Spoken English for Industry and Commerce (SEFIC) (ASE837) and

Level 4 SEFIC Telephone Test (ASE969).

There are various options to achieve a Level 3 Diploma, allowing a range of options with different combinations of Levels 3 or 4 English for Business and Levels 3 or 4 SEFIC.  The options are set out in the attached newsflash.  To achieve the Diploma candidates must achieve all the required modules within a 24 month period.  The elements of the SEFIC components must all be achieved within a 12 month period.

This new Diploma is a good opportunity to offer a new qualification to students, and is an opportunity for students who already have the necessary pass in one component to take the other and gain the Diploma.
