Dutch business life is dominated by a consensus culture. Meetings will take place every time important decisions are to be made, and employees are often also invited in the decision-making process.
DUTCH FOR BEGINNERS – LEVEL 1
The course is meant for expatriates who have little or no knowledge of the Dutch language. At the end of the course you will have an opportunity to take an official or unofficial exam, but this is not obligatory.
Programme: the basic aspects of Dutch grammar, special attention will be paid to reading, writing, listening and speaking. Socializing, giving and obtaining information in Dutch and vocabulary are also important aspects of this course.
DUTCH FOR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS – LEVEL 2
The course is meant for students who have completed the course Dutch for Beginners or who have a comparable level. The course will be taught almost entirely in Dutch.
Programme: improving your knowledge of business and social vocabulary, improving your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, including knowing how to deal with a telephone conversation, and understanding radio and TV programmes in Dutch. Attention will be paid to business and social aspects of the Dutch society.
